Having a baby and starting a new job doesn't really let me experiment, so I usually only bake the regular sourdough and yeast breads, but today I have decided to bake a good old favourite, a Hungarian kalács. It is similar to challah, however the texture and the taste is as unique as it can get.

New baker in town
The arrival of our son, the new little baker has slowed things down in the bread department but we are catching up and orders are coming in nicely.
Just agreed with the local design and printing company about some leaflets and some nice brown paper bags are on their way for the breads.

Tomato bread
No, I haven't tasted or seen tomato bread before but for a very good friend and customer, one must try and deliver a good product. So sleeves up, dust the flour, roast the tomatoes and see what we can produce. We are sticking to our promise, real bread only, no additives in this one either and of course all organic.
Get your bread knifes ready.
